My story
When I was younger, if you showed me a crystal ball of what my life looks like today I probably wouldn’t have believed you. Growing up in the suburbs of Buffalo, NY I was a pretty shy kid and wasn’t super adventurous. I always said I wanted to leave my hometown, and fast forward to 22 that’s exactly what I did. I moved to NYC to work as an IT professional for a major consumer goods company and instantly fell in love with the Big Apple. Mission accomplished! But what I didn’t see coming was some exciting news a year into my career - I was offered a three month international assignment to Bangalore, India.
I bought a camera, and in January 2019 I was off! I traveled to a new place each weekend and took thousands of photos. Some good, and some what you would expect from a beginner. I was an absolute monster with my camera and loved every minute. I was hooked!
Since then, I’ve had the privilege of capturing beauty all over the world. Like many, 2020 flipped my world around a little bit. So in 2021, I embarked on a 9 month journey as a nomad to capture some of the most beautiful landscapes the United States has to offer. From the rockies of Colorado to coastal views of California, I came back with quite the range of landscapes, sport and adventure work to add to my portfolio. Not to mention, a couple of interesting Airbnb stories but that’s another story for another time.
What all my travels have in common is they remind me of all the things that world offers that make life worth living. There’s something about staring at a mountain that took billions of years to form to the massive structure it is today that puts life in perspective to me. Nature makes me feel insignificant, but in the most beautiful way.
My work is dedicated to putting a spotlight on moments that make life worth living through nature and outdoor adventure.
